You can save Fansly videos, photos and the media in your messages straight to an iPhone or Android phone, for free, with the Fanripper app. Sign in to Fansly inside the app, tap Save on a post or a message, and the file is on your phone. No computer, no extension, no plan to buy.
One Fansly feature costs money on the phone: backing up a creator’s whole timeline in one run, which comes with Pro. This guide draws that line, sets the app up in a few minutes, and shows where your files end up.
Ground rule, said once: this is for a personal backup of content your account can already open. Fanripper is independent, not affiliated with Fansly, and it never unlocks anything you haven’t paid for.
Quick answer
- Install Expo Go, a free app on the App Store and Google Play.
- On your phone, open fanripper.com/app and tap Open Fanripper. On a computer, scan the code on that page with your phone instead.
- Sign in to Fanripper with the 6-character code we email you. Your free account is created on the first sign-in.
- Tap Fansly on the Home tab and sign in to Fansly as usual.
- Tap Save on any post or message. The file goes into the app’s Library, ready to send to Photos or Files.
What’s free on Fansly, and what needs Pro
On a free Fanripper account (and on every plan above it) the app saves from Fansly:
- Videos from posts, at the best quality Fansly offers. If you’d rather have smaller files, pick 1080p, 720p or Data saver in Settings, or choose a size on one post.
- Photos at full size.
- Media in your messages, meaning any photo or video sent to you in a Fansly chat.
- Everything on the page you’re looking at, in one go, with Save all on this page.
The one thing that needs Pro ($8/month), Max or Lifetime is the whole-timeline backup, where the app walks a creator’s entire Fansly timeline for you instead of you scrolling and tapping.
Why is Fansly free when protected OnlyFans video isn’t? Fansly video isn’t DRM-encrypted, so there’s no decryption to pay for. The longer answer, written for the browser extension, is in our free Fansly video downloader guide.
Set it up
1. Get Expo Go
Fanripper runs inside Expo Go, a free app from the App Store (iPhone, iOS 16.4 or later) and Google Play (Android). Because Expo Go comes from the official stores, there’s no APK to sideload and no “unknown sources” setting to change. App stores remove apps that download from subscription sites, which is why there’s no Fanripper listing of its own.
2. Open Fanripper from fanripper.com/app
On your phone, go to fanripper.com/app and tap Open Fanripper. On a computer, the same page shows a code: point your phone’s camera at it. After the first time, open Expo Go and tap Fanripper under Recently opened. New versions arrive by themselves the next time you open it.
Only ever open Fanripper from fanripper.com, never from a link someone sends you.
3. Sign in to Fanripper
Type your email, then the 6-character code we send. If you’re new, that creates your free account. If you already use the extension, it’s the same account and the same plan, and the phone gets its own device slot, so signing in on it won’t sign your computer out.
4. Sign in to Fansly inside the app
Tap Fansly on the Home tab. Fansly’s own site opens in the app’s browser. Sign in the way you always do.
5. Tap Save
Posts get a Save button. Tap it on a photo or video to save that file. For everything at once, tap Save at the bottom of the screen: it lists what’s on the page, with Save all on this page at the end.
Saving Fansly DMs on your phone
Open your messages on Fansly inside the app and go into a conversation. Photos and videos in the thread get the same Save button as posts, they’re free on every plan, and they land in the same Library as everything else.
There’s no one-tap backup of an entire conversation. You save message media as you go, a file at a time or with Save all on this page.
Backing up a whole Fansly timeline (Pro)
On Pro, Max or Lifetime, open a creator’s Fansly profile in the app, tap Save at the bottom, and start a whole-profile backup from there. Fanripper then walks their timeline from newest to oldest and queues every photo and video your account can open.
- It’s paced. The app waits at least two and a half seconds between pages of the timeline instead of firing requests as fast as it can. No tool can promise you’ll never be flagged; pacing keeps a backup closer to normal browsing.
- Up to 2,000 files per run. For a bigger profile, run it again: files already on your phone are skipped, so it carries on with the rest.
- Leave the app and it pauses. Come back and it carries on from the same page.
- It covers the timeline. Messages are saved one by one, as above.
For how backups work on OnlyFans, see the bulk profile download guide.
Where your files go
Everything you save lands in the app’s Library, grouped by creator, site and month, with search and sorting, and it plays offline.
- Photos. Save to Photos puts a file in your photo library (your gallery on Android) in one tap. You can turn on automatic saving to Photos in Settings. It stays off until you do.
- Files. On iPhone, Share → Save to Files puts a file anywhere you like. On Android, choose a folder once and every new save is copied there too.
- Save out anything you want to keep. Files stay inside Fanripper until you save them out, and removing Expo Go removes them with it.
Limits worth knowing
- Keep the app open. Phones only let Fanripper work while it’s open and on screen. The screen stays awake while it downloads; switch apps or lock the phone and downloads pause, then continue from the last finished piece when you come back.
- One file at a time. The app works through your downloads in order, not in parallel.
- Free space. A streamed video needs about twice its size free while the app puts it together.
- No Fansly stories. Posts and messages only.
- Only what your account can open. A locked post stays locked.
FAQ
Is there a Fansly downloader app for iPhone?
Yes. Fanripper runs inside Expo Go, a free app on the App Store, and saves Fansly videos, photos and message media straight to your iPhone. There’s no separate Fanripper listing in the App Store: install Expo Go, then open Fanripper from fanripper.com/app.
Does it work on Android?
Yes, the same way: Expo Go from Google Play, then fanripper.com/app. No APK and no “unknown sources” setting. The Android guide covers the app on Android in more detail.
Is it really free?
Saving Fansly posts, photos and message media is free on every plan, the free account included. Only the whole-timeline backup needs Pro ($8/month) or above.
Do I need a computer?
No. Signing in, saving and moving files into Photos all happen on the phone.
Can I save Fansly videos to my camera roll?
Yes. Tap Save to Photos on any file in the Library, or turn on automatic saving in Settings.
Why does the app have to stay open?
Phones only give Expo Go time to work while it’s on screen. Leave and downloads pause; come back and they continue from where they stopped.
