Fanfix has no download button. You can watch what you’ve unlocked as often as you like, but only inside app.fanfix.io, and if a creator deletes a post or your subscription lapses, it’s gone. This guide shows how to keep your own copy of the Fanfix videos you’ve already paid for: from posts, from your DMs and from your purchases Gallery, one at a time or all at once.
The short version: install the Fanripper extension on Chrome, Brave or Edge, unlock the Max or Lifetime plan, sign in to Fanfix as normal, and click Save on the video. It lands in your Downloads folder as the original MP4, sound included. On a phone, the Fanripper app does the same; see on your phone below.
One ground rule first: this is about a personal backup of content you have lawful, paid access to, saved on your own device. Fanripper is independent, not affiliated with Fanfix, and it never opens anything your account can’t already open.
What you need
- A computer with Chrome, Brave or Edge. This guide follows the Fanripper browser extension. On an iPhone or Android phone, use the Fanripper app instead; it’s covered below.
- The Fanripper extension, installed once (steps below).
- The Max or Lifetime plan. Fanfix sits on the two every-site plans, not on Free, Basic or Pro. You unlock it inside the extension, or from a phone at app.fanripper.com.
- Your normal Fanfix login. You sign in on app.fanfix.io itself. Fanripper never asks for your Fanfix password.
How to download a Fanfix video, step by step
- Install Fanripper. Download the build from the install page and unzip it. Open your extensions page (
chrome://extensions,brave://extensionsoredge://extensions), turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder. It isn’t in the Chrome Web Store, because stores routinely pull extensions that work with subscription sites, so this one-time step is how it installs. - Unlock Max or Lifetime from the extension.
- Open app.fanfix.io and sign in as you always do. Fanripper works through that logged-in browser session.
- Find the video. A Save button appears on the photos and videos you can already open.
- Click Save. The video goes to your Downloads folder as an MP4, with its sound.
That’s the whole flow. Everything the extension covers on Fanfix, with the plans side by side, is on the Fanfix downloader page.
Can you download videos from Fanfix? Yes, the ones your account can already play. Install Fanripper on Chrome, Brave or Edge, unlock Max or Lifetime, sign in at app.fanfix.io, and click Save on the video. It lands in your Downloads folder as an MP4 with sound.
Where the Save button shows up
Fanfix keeps your media in more places than the feed, and the Save button follows it:
- Posts: in your home feed, on a creator’s profile and on a single post’s page.
- Chats: on each photo and video message you’ve unlocked, and in the chat’s Gallery view. The Fanfix messages guide covers DMs in detail.
- Your purchases Gallery: the photos and videos you’ve bought, livestream replays included.
- Collections: the collections on a creator’s profile.
- Livestream replays: once a stream has ended and is saved as a replay, it saves like any other video.
Locked posts, the ones you’d have to pay to unlock, are never touched. Unlock them on Fanfix first, then save.
What quality you get
Fanfix keeps one version of each video: an MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio. Fanripper saves that file as it is. Same picture, same sound, never re-encoded.
That also means there is no quality menu to pick from, and no hidden higher resolution waiting behind a setting. There is one file, and that’s the one you get.
What quality are downloaded Fanfix videos? The original. Fanfix keeps one version of each video, an MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, and Fanripper saves that file as it is, never re-encoded. There is no hidden higher quality to unlock.
Photos work the same way: you get the original file Fanfix stores, not a thumbnail. Fanfix often stores photos as WebP even when the name ends in .jpg, so Fanripper names each file by its real format, and it opens properly in any viewer.
Protected videos are handled too
Some Fanfix videos are delivered to the player with DRM (Widevine) protection. It’s still the same video, since Fanfix keeps one version, but it’s the reason a right-click or a generic downloader gets you nothing usable.
You don’t have to tell the two kinds apart. Fanripper looks at each video, picks the right route automatically, and handles protected ones on your device, through the session you’re already signed into. You get the same MP4 with sound either way. For the plain-English version of what DRM means here, read are Fanfix videos DRM protected?
The phone app does the same: protected videos are handled on the phone itself, and you get the same MP4 with sound.
Does it work on protected Fanfix videos? Yes. Some Fanfix videos reach the player with DRM (Widevine) protection. Fanripper picks the right route for each video automatically and handles protected ones on your device.
Saving lots of videos at once
One click per video is fine for a handful. For a creator you’ve followed for a year, open the Fanripper drawer instead and save a whole creator (every post you can see, only the free ones, or only the ones you bought), a whole chat, your Gallery, or every creator you subscribe to.
Bulk runs are paced: requests are spaced out on purpose to protect your account, so a big run takes a while. If the Fanfix tab closes, the run pauses and picks up where it stopped when you open Fanfix again, and files you already saved are skipped. The Fanfix bulk download guide walks through it.
On your phone
Fanfix is in the Fanripper iPhone & Android app too, on the same Max or Lifetime plan. Open fanripper.com/app on your phone, sign in with your Fanripper email, then sign in to Fanfix inside the app’s own browser. The app never asks for your Fanfix password. A Save button appears on the photos and videos you can open: posts, chats, your Gallery, collections and livestream replays. The Fanripper panel in the app backs up a whole creator, a chat or your Gallery in one paced run, too.
Videos save at the quality Fanfix stores, as an MP4 with sound, never re-encoded, and photos as the original file. They land in the app’s library, and from there you save them to Photos or Files. Keep the app open while it downloads: leaving it pauses downloads, and they carry on when you come back.
Can I download Fanfix videos on my phone? Yes, on Max or Lifetime, in the Fanripper iPhone & Android app. Sign in to Fanfix inside the app and tap Save on the video; it saves as the MP4 Fanfix keeps, with sound.
What it doesn’t save
Said plainly, so you know before you pay:
- Locked posts and messages. Nothing bypasses a paywall. Unlock on Fanfix first.
- A livestream while it’s still live. Only the replay, once the stream has ended.
- Comments. Only the media.
No honest tool can promise that a site it doesn’t control will never change. When Fanfix changes something, Fanripper tells you as soon as a fix ships, and updating is a 15-second re-load that keeps your settings and login. The fastest route to us is Telegram at @fanripper.
Is it safe for my account?
- No password. Fanripper uses the Fanfix session already open in your browser and never asks for your login.
- On your device. Videos are processed and saved on your own computer or phone.
- Paced. Requests are spaced out on purpose to protect your account.
No tool can promise that an account will never be flagged, and you should distrust any that does. Local processing, no password handover and paced requests are what keep the footprint small.
What it costs
Fanfix is on the two every-site plans:
- Max: $15/month. Fanfix, JustForFans and privacy.com.br on top of everything in Pro, plus every new site we add. Two computers and two phones.
- Lifetime: $99 once. Every Max feature with no subscription, on one computer and one phone.
The Free, Basic, Pro and Unlimited plans cover OnlyFans and Fansly, not Fanfix. You buy inside the extension, or from a phone at app.fanripper.com, with no KYC, and nothing renews by itself. Every plan is on the pricing page.
The short version
Install Fanripper on Chrome, Brave or Edge, unlock Max or Lifetime, sign in to Fanfix and click Save. You get the video Fanfix keeps (the original MP4 with sound, never re-encoded), protected videos included, saved on your own device. Start from the install page, or on a phone from fanripper.com/app, see everything it covers on the Fanfix downloader page, and keep it to what you’ve paid for.
