How to Download Fanfix Messages: Save DM Photos & Videos

Save the photos and videos in your Fanfix chats: one message at a time, from a chat's Gallery, or a whole chat in one run. Unlocked media only.

On this page

A lot of what you pay for on Fanfix never appears on a creator’s feed. It arrives in your chats: a photo set here, a video you unlocked there. That’s also the media that’s easiest to lose. Chats get long, creators clear things out, and Fanfix gives you no way to download any of it.

Fanripper adds that missing button. Open a chat on app.fanfix.io and a Save button appears on each photo and video message you’ve already unlocked, and in the chat’s Gallery view. Save one message, or save the whole chat in one run.

One ground rule first: this is about a personal backup of content you have lawful, paid access to, saved on your own device. Fanripper is independent, not affiliated with Fanfix, and it never opens anything your account can’t already open.

What you can save from a Fanfix chat

  • Photos you’ve unlocked, as the original file Fanfix stores. Fanfix often stores photos as WebP even when the name says .jpg, so Fanripper names each file by its real format.
  • Videos you’ve unlocked, as the MP4 Fanfix keeps, with sound, never re-encoded. Some Fanfix videos reach the player DRM-protected; the browser extension handles those too, on your device.
  • The chat’s Gallery view, where the media in a conversation is gathered in one place.
  • A whole chat, or all of them, from the Fanripper drawer.

What it leaves alone: messages you haven’t unlocked. A locked message gets counted, never downloaded.

Can you download Fanfix messages? Yes, the media in them that you’ve unlocked. Open the chat on app.fanfix.io and a Save button appears on each photo and video message you can already open, and in the chat’s Gallery view.

How to save a photo or video from a Fanfix chat

  1. Install Fanripper on Chrome, Brave or Edge and unlock Max or Lifetime inside the extension. (The full install steps are in how to download Fanfix videos.)
  2. Sign in at app.fanfix.io as you always do. Fanripper works through that browser session and never asks for your Fanfix password.
  3. Open the chat and scroll to the message with the photo or video.
  4. Click Save on it.
  5. Find it in your Downloads folder, ready to back up wherever you keep your archive.

That’s the same flow as saving from a post, just inside the chat.

Scrolling back through months of messages to find one video is slow. Each Fanfix chat also has a Gallery view that gathers its media together, and the Save button appears there too. Open it, pick what you want, and save without hunting through the thread.

Save a whole chat, or every chat

When a conversation has dozens of photos and videos, use the Fanripper drawer instead of clicking each one:

  • Save this chat: open the chat, open the drawer, and save every photo and video in it that you can see.
  • Save all my chats: every chat, one after another, without you opening each one.

Can I save a whole Fanfix chat at once? Yes. Open the chat, open the Fanripper drawer and choose Save this chat. To go through every chat one after another, choose Save all my chats.

A bulk run like this is built to be left alone:

  • It’s paced. Requests are spaced out on purpose to protect your account, so a long chat takes a while.
  • It picks up where it stopped. If the Fanfix tab closes, the run pauses. Open Fanfix again and it carries on instead of starting over.
  • It skips what you have. Files you already saved aren’t downloaded twice.
  • Retry means retry. If a few files fail, Retry tries only those, not the whole chat.

Bulk saves are sorted for you. By default they go into your Downloads folder under Fanripper/<creator>/<section>/<type>/, so a creator’s chat media lands in their Messages folder, split by type. You can change that in Settings → Where your files go.

The same drawer saves a whole creator, your purchases Gallery or every subscription. That’s covered in the Fanfix bulk download guide.

Locked messages stay locked

A pay-to-unlock message is exactly that. Fanripper doesn’t open it, doesn’t preview it and doesn’t buy it for you. During a run, locked messages are counted instead of saved, and at the end Fanripper tells you how many there were and what unlocking them would cost on Fanfix. If you want them, unlock them on Fanfix, then save.

What happens to locked messages? They’re left alone. A locked message is counted, never downloaded: unlock it on Fanfix first, then save it. At the end of a run, Fanripper tells you how many were locked and what unlocking them would cost.

On your phone

Fanfix chats work in the Fanripper iPhone & Android app too, on the same Max or Lifetime plan. Open fanripper.com/app on your phone and sign in to Fanfix inside the app’s own browser; the app never asks for your Fanfix password. Open a chat and tap Save on a photo or video message you’ve unlocked, or open the Fanripper panel to save the whole chat, or all your chats one after another.

Chat runs on the phone behave like the ones above. They’re paced, at one request every 2.5 seconds or more. They pause when you leave Fanfix and carry on when you come back, skip what you already saved, and Retry tries only what failed. Locked messages are counted, with what unlocking them would cost, and never touched. Files go to the app’s library, ready to save to Photos or Files, and downloads run while the app is open.

Can I save Fanfix DMs on my phone? Yes, on Max or Lifetime, in the Fanripper iPhone & Android app. Sign in to Fanfix inside the app and tap Save on a message you’ve unlocked, or save one chat or all your chats from the Fanripper panel.

What it doesn’t do

  • No comments. It saves media, not comment threads.
  • No live streams in progress. A livestream replay saves like any other video once the stream has ended; your purchases Gallery keeps replays on their own tab.
  • No paywall bypass. Only what your account can already open.

Is it safe for my account?

Fanripper works from the session already open in your browser (or, on a phone, the one you sign in to inside the app), saves files to your own computer or phone, and never asks for your password. Bulk runs are paced on purpose. No tool can promise an account will never be flagged, and you should be wary of any that does; a small, paced footprint is the honest goal.

What it costs

Fanfix is on Max ($15/month) and Lifetime ($99 once), the two plans that cover every site, alongside OnlyFans, Fansly, JustForFans and privacy.com.br. The Free, Basic, Pro and Unlimited plans don’t include Fanfix. Compare them on the pricing page, and see the full feature list on the Fanfix downloader page.

If you also use OnlyFans, its chats work the same way. See how to download OnlyFans DMs.

The short version

The media you pay for in Fanfix chats is the easiest to lose. Fanripper puts a Save button on each photo and video message you’ve unlocked and in each chat’s Gallery, and saves a whole chat, or every chat, in one paced run that skips what you already have. Locked messages stay locked. Install it from the install page, or open fanripper.com/app on your phone, open a chat, and keep your copy.
